Hola, it’s Carter and Sam! After a great ending to our homestay in Turucu, we departed for Cotopaxi National Park. Following a long drive with beautiful vistas, the group had a great welcoming at the hacienda. Looking forward to the next few days here, we started it off with a walk through the pastures with breathtaking views. As we sat for our 20 minutes of silence, we could not get over the view of the mountains surrounding us. After dinner, it was great to hear about everyone’s independent projects that showed how much we learned during our homestay. Everyone is eager to climb Cotopaxi tomorrow and see the amazing miradors from the top.
